Class Assignment

Once we have received your registration forms we:

Place each student, individually, into classes according to age, grade, experience level, proficiency, teacher evaluations, and other techniques they are taking.
Look at the students’ school dismissal times, religious education, and high school dance team time constraints.
Set your schedule according to your conflicts.

WHY DO WE NOT PRESET A SCHEDULE

FOR 1st-12th GRADE?

This would make scheduling less time consuming for us!! However, the time we would save is not worth compromising the students’/classes’ success that is achieved when all students are at the same level from the start.
As students get older, parents and dancers are able to customize their dance program, choosing from 10 techniques.
Students of the same age and experience can vary greatly in their proficiency levels.
Parents and students have more control in class (technique) choices
With 10 techniques, a preset schedule may not allow for the different combination of classes your child may choose. You make your choices; we make it work!
We have been told that other studios that preset their schedules often end up changing students’ dance days/times before or after classes start.
Some studios only offer 2 levels for your student to be placed in. However, we are able to provide more levels per age group. For example, last year we were able to offer four levels of classes for 11^thgraders.

REGISTRATION FEE

$35.00 PER FAMILY –Covers initial set up costs and insurance per family for one year. This is due with September tuition. Registration fee and Tuition are non-refundable unless we are unable to accommodate your written conflicts.
